Are you searching for a career in Sales? We are currently seeking a motivated and experience Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultants, you will be responsible for assisting clients in finding the right vehicle for their needs, negotiating prices and terms, and providing exceptional customer service. Essential Duties

  • Greet each customer promptly upon arrival at the Dealership
  • Stay informed of current vehicle inventory and location
  • Track changing vehicle market conditions and incentives
  • Be familiar with the appraisal process
  • Attend sales meetings as scheduled
  • Be familiar with departmental sales objectives
  • Record all lot traffic
  • Other tasks assigned

Qualifications

  • A successful Sales Consultant needs the product knowledge, professionalism, and empathy that clients look for today. Communication is extremely important in a Sales Department as it contributes to team building with Service and Parts.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.
  • Must have a valid OMVIC license
  • Automotive experience is preferred

    Essential Duties

    • Assist all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
    • Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials
    • Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and any other information
    • Review body shop estimates to be sure that the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
    • Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers
    • Pull and fill orders from stock
    • Notify the Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
    • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order if necessary
    • Notify the Service Advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received
    • Notify the body shop when all Parts have arrived and when they will be delivered
    • Pull orders for delivery to the body shop, making sure all parts are tagged with the customer name and job number
    • Follow up on back-ordered parts
    • Verify will-call and back-ordered files weekly and returns to vendors, or stock the items that have not been picked up
    • Replenish assigned inventory daily
    • Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on the repair orders
    • Receive payments from retail customers or obtain credit authorization
    • Ensure that all charge sales are signed by the customer
    • Ensure that all customers received a copy of the invoice
    • Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special order parts
    • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup
    • Solicit assigned accounts by phone
    • Keep from and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered
    • Stay current on all new products and product updates
    • Maintain a professional appearance
